Open Water Swims All Over The World

We apologize for not being able to keep track of all the events, athletes, announcements and activities in the open water swimming world. The rapidly increasing number of events, athletes, and worldwide open water activities are quickly outgrowing our ability to keep up.

This weekend alone, the open water swimming community has dozens of local swims on its schedule like the US$30,000 prize offered at the Flowers Sea Swim in the Cayman Islands, and several long-distance swims like the Bridge to Bridge 10K Swim in San Francisco Bay, the German National 25K Championships and the 8-mile Kirkton of Balmarino Swim in Scotland, and the professional races like the 36K Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli in Italy (see below) in addition to all kinds of solo swims ranging from New York City to the Strait of Gibraltar.

If you are competing, good luck. If you are training, keep it up. If you are cheering the athletes, enjoy.
