The first World Open Water Swimming Age Group Championships will be held in the beautiful Oriental Bay in Wellington on the southern tip of New Zealand's North Island on March 28, 2009.The age groups will most likely be 14-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89 and 90-94.
The specific distances and qualifying times for each age group will be announced soon.
