More Money At The Sea King Challenge

The race directors for the Sea King Challenge in Rio de Janeiro have announced an even larger cash prize for the ten pro swimmers competing in the unique 10K course on Copacabana Beach.

The ten pros will be fighting over US$10,000 (R$18,500).

We will cover the new pro 10K Sea King Challenge live from Rio de Janeiro on Twitter on Sunday, December 13th. The televised race should be a great one before tens of thousands of fans on Copacabana Beach.

The all-star team from Brazil will defend their home turf and surf against Alexander Studzinski of Germany (representing Europe), Daniel Katzir of Israel (representing Asia), Trent Grimsey of Australia (representing Oceania), Ivan Lopez of Mexico (representing the Americas) and Chad Ho of South Africa (representing Africa).

Catch it live online here starting at 10:00 am Rio de Janeiro time on December 13th.
