Swimming For Hope

James Bayles, one of the many accomplished marathon swimmers of Connecticut, will attempt an unprecedented swim on September 14th in New York, called the Coney Island to South Street Seaport Swim for Epilepsy, in his attempt to raise awareness and money about epilepsy.

James, an English Channel swimmer, has been raising money for charity for 16 years.

His swim this month will help raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut and will be a grueling 11.5-mile jaunt through turbulent waters from Coney Island to Manhattan.
