This Friday, 7 swimmers from the Dolphin Club of San Francisco will begin an estimated 40-hour journey down the Sacramento River to San Francisco Bay. Their purpose is to help fight pollution in San Francisco Bay with the BayKeeper group.
You can follow the swimmers here with Twitter updates here.The team includes swimmers Duke Dahlin, Suzanne Heim-Bowen, John Ottersberg, Laura Burtch, Tom Keller, Jon Ennis, Ralph Wenzel and Mike Chase (alternate), helpers Reuben Hechanova and Barbara Byrnes, and captain Peter Molnar.
