A sprint open water swim will take place in Zuma Beach this weekend on June 20th. The Zuma Half Mile Swim is part of the larger Malibu Surf and Sport Festival.
Zuma Beach, located north of Los Angeles, has been used for numerous films (e.g., the final scene in the Planet of the Apes shown on left), TV shows and triathlons that draw stars like Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Lopez, William Macy, Felicity Huffman and David Duchovny.Copyright © 2009 by World Open Water Swimming Association
