Despite the news of the cancellation of the Sabac professional marathon race in Serbia, we know first-hand that the NYC Pro Swim in New York City is going on as scheduled on Sunday, September 6, 2009. New York will welcome the world’s best open water swimmers on the traditional Labor Day weekend in the U.S., racing within view of lower Manhattan Island and the Statue of Liberty.
