Swimsuits manufacturers must start labeling their approved swimsuits with 2 x 2 cm labels with the following wording:FINA

FINA will also check swimsuits 3 days prior to the World Swimming Championships and will reconfirm prior to the start of the swimming competition.
Note: the 5K, 10K and 25K races are held before the first day of the pool swimming competitions at the World Swimming Championships.

What technical suits do/do not fit the criteria?
Apparently, they have one opportunity to submit (i.e., re-submit) their swimsuits by March 31, 2009 in order to meet the new specifications for calendar year 2009. Swimsuits can be resubmitted by December 31, 2009 for approval for the 2010 calendar year.
