Swimming World Magazine posted an article about the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere, England. Photos, a race summary and results of the top 5 swimmers can be found here.
Swimming World Magazine will also post a great 8-minute video highlight of the 1-mile race. The open water swim in the largest lake in England was a great rematch between 6 Olympic medalists, including David Davies, Maarten van der Weijden, Thomas Lurz, Cassandra Patten, Keri-Anne Payne and 400-meter freestyle bronze medalist Joanne Jackson.
