Adam Voss defended his CUC 800-meter sea swim title on Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman Island over local favorite and previous winner Seiji Groome, another 16-year-old. The 21st annual race was held, not surprisingly, under ideal weather conditions.
Adam from Indiana was an added bonus to his family vacation. "We came down here around 1994 and loved it and have been coming back ever since."
Thanks to the great two-decade support of Caribbean Utilities Company, the race continues to grow and prosper.
