Swimming Down Lovely Loch Allua
Last weekend, an 8K race in Loch Allua in Cork, Ireland started in a gently flowing lake and ended in the quick-running River Lee. The slower swimmers had a 30-minute head start with subsequent heats starting at different intervals behind them. Billy Horgan from Cork and Linda Clarke from Dublin finished first and second in the charity swim organized by the local Lions Club.
