Great Swim by him, I read on another site that he was feeding every 8 minutes? Not sure if that was a mistake or a typo, but apparently his slowest feed was 3 seconds, most were 1 or 2!! Any more info on this would be great.

Awesome swim!
Very near the record...
We have always advocated very quick feedings on marathon swims. 2-4 seconds are the norm at the elite levels. Feedings every 8-12 minutes are also optimal in our opinion based on research. Back in the 1970's, Channel record holder Penny Lee Dean (7:40) was also a very strong advocate of very fast feedings. These athletes practice fast feedings in training and competition so it becomes second nature, while communicating with the coach and escort boat via white boards, stroke counts and hand signals.

Great swims indeed !
It appears that it wasn't Tomislav Soldo but Tomi Stefanovki from Macedonia.
I was the one who threw the name Soldo in the internet discussion this morning trying to find who was the "Tomi" doing so great in the Channel!
Thank you very much for the correction. It was our error for not verifying the facts before posting. Our sincere apologies to all athletes involved.
