Valentin Milkov (shown on left), Executive Director of the FINA 10KM Marathon Swimming World Cup race in Varna, reported that Bulgarian Mohail Gergiev won the 4K Galata-Varna swimming marathon race in Varna Bay, setting the record in the 69th edition of the race in 47:03. Two other swimmers, Ivan Bozkov and Georgi Palazov, also broke the record, swimming in 47:12.
