Bild Magazine, the best-selling German newspaper, announced its Top 100 Most Beautiful Women in Germany (Die 100 erotischsten Frauen Deutschlands) list. The sport of open water swimming was represented at #59 by Britta Kamrau, a multi-time world champion and 2008 inductee into the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame, who will soon be competing in her country's national championships for the right to represent Germany at the upcoming World Swimming Championships.
We were impressed how many athletes were represented in Bild's list and its celebration of female beauty of all ages (ranging from 19 to 77 with an average age of 34.4 years).
