Mt. Everest - The English Channel of Climbing

Charlie Gravett of the Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club answered the following question: "How many people have successfully reached the peak of Mt. Everest and successfully swam across the English Channel?"

The three unique adventurers include the following men:

Eric Blakeley of Jersey (shown above) conquered Mt. Everest in 1997 and the English Channel in 2003 (20 hours and 30 minutes).

Hugo Rodríguez Barroso of Mexico (shown on left) conquered Mt. Everest in 1997, 1999 and 2000 and the English Channel in 1986 (13 hours) and 1993 (13 hours and 4 minutes).

Georgios Tsianos, a 1996 Olympic swimmer from Greece who swam for California-Berkeley (shown on left), conquered Mt. Everest in 2004 and the English Channel in 2000 (9 hours and 20 minutes).
