Amazing Masters In Life and In The Water

With the great fanfare surrounding the amazing Jaring Timmerman of Winnipeg, Canada (see video here), who is looking to set a masters pool swimming world record at the age of 100, we wondered about open water swimming centenarians.

One individual is the 99-year-old Icebergers, Harry Raisbeck (see photo on left). Harry was the president of the Icebergers for over 25 years, is the namesake of the Harry Raisbeck Winter Classic in the Middle Brighton Sea Baths, and swam 600 meters daily through winter up to his early 90's.

May we all live such a healthful and enjoyable life.
