The
Philippine Business for Social Progress helped make a big splash in the Philippines with its 6.4K
Olango Challenge this weekend.
18-year-old Nikita Dacera, a member of the Philippine Center for Excellence in Aquatic Sports, won overall in 1:11 and Paula Vega was the fastest woman.
The course was along the coast from the
Pacific Cebu Resort to the beachfront of
Tambuli Beach Club.

The location may host additional marathon swims in the future, considering the president of the Philippine Amateur Swimming Association, Mark Joseph, participated in the race and said Cebu is a perfect venue for marathon swimming because of its location that has everything to accommodate tourists and swimmers.
