The annual Across the Lake Swim will be held on July 18th in British Columbia, Canada.The Across the Lake Swim began in 1949 and is run by the Kelowna Masters Swim Club as part of the Kelowna Regatta. Record holders include Roland Bauhart at 20:49 in 1997 and K.C. Emerson at 23:27 in 1999.
This is another great example of a local open water swim with a long history of safety and memories.
