 Guam and the Japan Swimming Federation will co-host the 2009 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships to be held January 8-12, 2009.  The 10K marathon swim will take place on January 12th along the beautiful Tumon Bay.

The 10K race will be 4 loops of a 2.5K triangular course on the north coast in Guam's most popular and beautiful resort beach.  Tumon Bay is a marine preserves and the primary marine recreation destination for Guam's 1.2 million visitors annually.
