In addition to Olympic 10K Marathon Swim gold medalist Maarten van der Weijden, silver medalists Keri-Anne Payne and David Davies, and bronze medalists Thomas Lurz and Cassandra Patten, Joanne Jackson, the bronze medalist in the 400-meter freestyle in Beijing, will also compete in the 1-mile Great North Swim in Lake Windermere. Six Olympic medalists in a short 1-mile lake swim should be quite a fun race to watch.
