Micha Burden is highlighted in a cover story on this month's Competitor Magazine. In an interview with Bob Babbitt and Paul Huddle, Micha addressed questions ranging from how she got into the sport to how fast the world-class open water swimmers are. Micha also related about the FINA Marathon Swimming World Cup race she did in Santos, Brazil, "…I was in Brazil in January, and there was maybe 16 or 20 girls in the lead pack. It was very rough. I actually got a broken rib, so I can only imagine what it’s going to be like in the Olympics."
Micha is currently competing in the US Olympic Swimming Team Trials in Omaha. She did a 8:49.25 in the 800 freestyle on Friday.
