I was very fortunate to attend the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim qualification race in Beijing last week and have photographs, impressions and memories to last a long time. I'll try to post something different each day until the Olympics begin on August 8th.
The Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park venue was gorgeous. The photograph on the left is from the women's race looking towards the VIP section of the venue. Chloe Sutton, who eventually won the race, is seen stretching out the pack and increasing her lead.
